Q: Where are you located?

A: We are currently located in Davenport, IA which falls outside of tornado alley and the Madrid fault line. Additional locations are coming soon

Q: What makes you different from a mining farm?

A: Our experience in designing and building data centers focuses on the critical factors to keep your miners up and running longer. Expertise in clean airflow and power quality set us apart from the rest.

Q: What is your hosting capacity?

A: 6 megawatts in Davenport, IA with more locations coming soon!

Q: What is the current rate for power?

A: $0.06 per kWh is the blended power rate for summer/winter.

Q: For what does the hosting fee per kW pay?

A: This fee is for the cost of the airflow/filtration, power and network infrastructure necessary to optimally run your equipment. Plus, since we are passing through the power costs, we need to make a little dough for ourselves.

Q: How is my power usage calculated?

A: Usage data that comes from each of the miners is aggregated through the Prospector View software which generates the monthly power report. This is the same report you have access to in your personal miner dashboard.

Q: How is your billing different from other hosting facilities?

A: We offer metered power billing, which is a more customary practice for server hosting but unique for miners. Never mine at a loss again! Click through to our Services page for a full list of benefits.

Q: Why are you taking this different approach to billing?

A: Because we are miners ourselves and we understand where you are coming from. We have built this model to be sensitive to downtime associated with major market dips while allowing us to execute a successful business plan.

Q: Is there anything that would change my costs?

Fortunately, our energy provider (MidAmerican Energy) uses enough renewable energy that our power costs rarely, if ever, fluctuate. Our data center experience reflects this statement as we have not seen any significant increases over the past 10 years.

“This team is full of rock stars! They are absolutely fantastic and go above and beyond to make sure I have everything I need. I have never worked with better data center staff. Thank you!”
