What We Look for in Our Mining Locations

DC Mining is continually vetting new locations to develop for retail mining and investment individuals/groups based on the following criteria:

  • Power deployed to an existing structure

  • Power availability from a substation in proximity

  • Quality/reliability of power and provider

  • Favorable power rate/terms

What You Should Look for in a Mining Location

As you vet where you want to house your miners, questions to ask include:

  • Is the air being filtered? This is important so your miners remain in good, working order for the long haul.

  • Are they insured and/or do they require proof of insurance?

  • In what part of the country are they located and are natural disasters a risk?

  • Do they have redundant internet feeds?

  • What measures are taken to keep the network secure and prevent cybersecurity threats?

  • Is the facility secure and continuously monitored?

  • How reliable is their power and can they provide uptime reporting?
