What We Look for in Our Mining Locations
DC Mining is continually vetting new locations to develop for retail mining and investment individuals/groups based on the following criteria:
Power deployed to an existing structure
Power availability from a substation in proximity
Quality/reliability of power and provider
Favorable power rate/terms
What You Should Look for in a Mining Location
As you vet where you want to house your miners, questions to ask include:
Is the air being filtered? This is important so your miners remain in good, working order for the long haul.
Are they insured and/or do they require proof of insurance?
In what part of the country are they located and are natural disasters a risk?
Do they have redundant internet feeds?
What measures are taken to keep the network secure and prevent cybersecurity threats?
Is the facility secure and continuously monitored?
How reliable is their power and can they provide uptime reporting?
